Bacon Buttys On The River

you may remember in a recent news story on the site that some guys came for a 1 star kayak course....well....they returned to have a trip on the river on what was a beautiful day.

neil and rob returned for a days kayak trip to utilise their new skills, we journyed from kerne bridge to symonds yat, a total of 9 miles or so, including some training and playing on the rapids we passed.

lunch was bacon butties freshly cooked on our mini stove that matt had in his boat, the other kayaks pulled up for lunch on the gravel beach looked on a little jelous as our buttys smelt great ...

we finished off at the pub at symonds yat.
