Huskies For Hire!

seasons greetings all....

we had a phone call the other day...from a mr claus..he was in need of some help as his raindeer team were sick and couldnt make it over to turn on some christmas lights...as he had had the huskies christmas lists (who sent them???) he asked for a favour in return...coudl we pull him up the high street to turn on the lights.....

we couldnt turn the offer down now could we...so...using kirra and lolly with wolfe in support and then pogue and beans we pulled santa up the local high street to turn the light on.....what an adventure....snadwiched between to marching bands with big drums,,,,a fire truck with a siren and lots of people the team did us proud...up until the open door of the butchers shop....yep no joke...beans who is bind in one eye, but is a real race dog on my friends 4 dog team, had a wiff...a mear wiff of the christmas turkeys and that was it...we were in!! they got through the door first follwed by iain who was leading the team on a lead, and then me hauling kirra and lolly out!!!

very funny!!! santa wasnt so impressed...but the butchers saw the funny side.

so on up the high street and santa steps of and the huskies get covered in strokes and kisses and told how beautiful they look...santa look ok after his ordeal.....and iain got a speeding ticket and a telling off from the over eager boys in blue whilst riding the rig back to the vans down the high street at over 30 mph,,with out the dogs or an lights !!!
